Set on a distant planet, Lemmings 2 The Tribes follows a group of tribal Lemmings as they try to survive and thrive amidst an alien landscape filled with danger.

The gameplay revolves around guiding your tribe through various levels, each consisting of multiple paths that the Lemmings must navigate. You can remove obstacles using items such as explosive crates or create new paths by sacrificing certain Lemmings in a controlled environment known as a "remover."
