Columns III: Revenge of Columns is the third game in the popular Columns series, released on the Sega Genesis in 1994. In this fast-paced puzzle mayhem, your goal is to arrange three or more jewels of the same colour horizontally, vertically or diagonally to remove them from the playing screen.
The jewels are falling from the top of the screen, and you can change their order at any time to create new opportunities for removal. In addition to the standard gameplay, Columns III: Revenge of Columns introduces new features such as a rising bar that can be used to hinder opponents in the Arcade, Versus, and Time Trial modes.
