Sagaia , released for the Sega Genesis, is a Shoot'em Up game where you control Proco Jr. and Tiat Young as they journey to defeat an evil force in a galaxy. The story begins with the planet Orga being destroyed by the passing of many centuries, but its legacy lives on through the descendants of Darius.
The gameplay revolves around navigating through 10 levels of increasingly challenging alien environments, while avoiding obstacles and enemy fire. Proco Jr. can collect power-ups such as missiles and shields to aid him in his quest. The unique twist is the non-linear level system, which allows players to explore different paths and routes.
