Space Invaders is a popular arcade game that was released for the Super Nintendo in 1997. The game follows the classic formula of alien invaders descending on Earth and the player's task to eliminate them before they reach the ground. The game features four different types of arcade cabinets, including upright, black & white, and more.
The gameplay is straightforward: control a spaceship to shoot down waves of aliens that move horizontally across the screen. As the game progresses, more aliens appear, making it increasingly difficult for the player to survive. The game also features versus mode, where two players compete against each other in a split-screen environment.
