TNN Outdoors Bass Tournament '96

After selecting the equipment, the game takes the player to a top-down map where one of six available lakes can be explored. The included lakes are real-life locations, including Lake Okeechobee, Truman Reservoir, Lake Erie West, Dale Hollow, Lake Eufaula, and Bull Shoals. Once a spot is chosen, the game switches to a 3rd-person over-the-shoulder view, similar to the earlier SNES version. Casting is done through a power meter, and players can retry bad casts. When in the water, the camera switches to a top-down view inside the water, allowing players to watch the bottom surface and fish swimming by.

The game includes various parameters that can be defined in free fishing mode, such as season, weather, starting time, and wind strength. In tournaments, these change dynamically. The game also features a music player for the soundtrack.
