The Tick is a fighting game where ninjas need beating-up and bosses need clobbering. The game's story revolves around Arthur, the main character, who needs help defeating enemies that get in his way. With the assistance of his ally, Ninjaman, Arthur must fight his way through levels to reach the final showdown with the evil boss.
The gameplay is similar to other fighting games like Streets of Rage. You run around levels avoiding obstacles and battling any enemies that come your way. As you progress through the game, the battles become more intense, requiring strategic thinking and quick reflexes. When in a tight spot, Arthur can call upon Ninjaman for assistance, turning the tide of battle in his favor.
