Doraemon is based on the popular anime series about a blue robotic cat named Doraemon . In this game, Nobita , Doraemon's friend, meets a little fairy who helps them discover how to help people in the dream world. The dream world was once shared by humans and fairies, but with human technology advancement, fairies lost their place.

The gameplay consists mainly of platform action stages with an exploration mode. In the exploration mode, you control Doraemon from a top-down view, talking to people and entering houses. After gathering enough information, a part of the map will be highlighted. If Doraemon enters this place, a platform action section begins. In these sections, Doraemon must jump over obstacles or throw magic dust at enemies to retrieve important items.

Doraemon was released for the Super Famicom in February 1993 and is an Action & Adventure game.
