Gameplay involves controlling a party of up to four characters, including Farse and three selectable Terranos, as they explore the world and battle random enemies and bosses in turn-based combat. The twist is that special attacks and magical spells don't consume magic points but instead reduce hit points. Players can collect mini-bottles containing potions to heal their characters, and equip various magical artifacts to access eight different elements of magic.
