Metal Slader Glory: Director's Cut is an enhanced remake of the Family Computer game Metal Slader Glory . It features improved audio and redrawn graphics, additional scenes omitted from the original game due to lack of cartridge space, different background music due to rights issues, and new artwork for the ending.

The story follows the protagonist, a young man who is falsely accused of murder and must navigate through 1980s Japan to uncover the truth. Along the way, he must fight his way through hordes of enemies and solve puzzles to progress.

Gameplay involves action-adventure elements, as the player controls the protagonist through side-scrolling levels set in various locations across Japan. The gameplay is fast-paced, requiring players to use a combination of shooting and fighting skills to overcome obstacles.

Metal Slader Glory: Director's Cut was released on the Super Famicom in November 2000 for Japan.
