Street Racer is a kart racing game similar to Super Mario Kart .
The story of Street Racer revolves around four characters: Takumi, Keisuke, Ritsuko, and Mika. They are all drivers in their own right, each with their own driving style. The goal is to beat your friends and other opponents on the track.
The gameplay of Street Racer involves racing against either human opponents or computer-controlled characters. Players can choose from eight different vehicles, each with its unique skills in speed, handling, or resistance. There are also various power-ups scattered throughout the tracks, such as bombs, nitro fuel, and health packs.
Street Racer was released on the Super Famicom console on December 2nd, 1994, for Japan only.
