Super R-Type , a sequel to the arcade R-Type shooters, puts you in the role of the R-9, Earth's most advanced form of defense against the BYDO Empire. Your mission is to navigate through seven stages, collecting power-up items and defeating stage bosses that return from the arcade versions of R-Type and R-Type II . Along the way, you can team up with FORCE, invincible units that surround your ship to protect it and provide additional firepower.

The gameplay in Super R-Type is a classic side-scrolling shooter experience. You'll need to strategically use your power-ups and FORCE allies to take down the enemy forces. With its fast-paced action and challenging level design, Super R-Type will keep you on the edge of your seat as you fight to save the world from the BYDO Empire.
