Tecmo Secret of the Stars follows the story of Ray, a young boy living with his foster-father on an island. However, his peaceful life is short-lived as he learns about the evil wizard Homncruise's plan to conquer the world. To defeat him, Ray must find the magic crest of his fallen father and assemble a team of legendary warriors known as Aquitallion . With their help, Ray will be ready to face Homncruise and save the world.
Gameplay involves exploring the world map, visiting towns and dungeons, and engaging in turn-based combat from a first-person perspective. You'll have two parties at your disposal: the Aquitallion , which can access plot-progressing areas, and additional parties for dungeon exploration and item retrieval. As you progress, you'll also be able to manage your own town.
