Disney Violetta: Rhythm & Music is a rhythm and trivia game based on the Argentine telenovela that ran for three seasons between 2012 and 2015. It tells the story of Violetta, a teenager who returns to her hometown Buenos Aires with her father Germán from Europe. Violetta has musical talent and focuses on Latin and pop music as she enrolls in Studio 21 to become a star.
Players can enjoy three types of rhythm games with songs from the show as the soundtrack in a career mode or through quick play sessions. One game involves catching notes, stars, and full hearts while avoiding broken hearts using the Wiimote or stylus. In the Wii version, full-motion video from the show runs in the background.
Another game features notes falling from the sky, which players must catch along with butterflies before they reach the bottom of the screen.
The third game is a trivia challenge where players need to guess song titles or lyrics based on excerpts, all within a time limit. Scores are calculated based on correct guesses, streaks, and remaining time.
