We Love Golf! is a mix of arcade/mini-golf and real golf strategy. The game uses the Wii-remote to hit and put the ball, including lining up shots and adding touch fades and draws with a flick of the wrist on the remote. The look of the game has an arcade feel, with shots portrayed in fire trails or comet trails, but the player also needs to correct for wind and other factors. Each course has a different look and feel, each with its own set of challenging obstacles.
The game has a career mode where players can play as characters designed for the game, as well as classic Capcom characters like Chun-Li and Jill Valentine. There's also a 4-player party mode and a "World Party" mode where players can go online with Mii's to challenge other players and win medals. Players can also unlock bonus courses and characters by winning various game modes.
