beatmania for WonderSwan is a portable music game that brings the excitement of arcade beatmania to your travels. In this version, you'll find a series of popular songs with reproduced vocals, as well as a variety of buttons to press and scratches to make. The game includes everything you'd expect from a beatmania experience.
Once you've selected the music you want to play, a vertical scroll will appear on screen, guiding your movements along with the rhythm. You'll need to hit the left directional buttons at specific times, as indicated by the game's visuals. The "scratch" input is also present, which may seem surprising given the WonderSwan's portability, but the game comes with a miniature record that can be placed over the directional keys for added realism.
