Mortal Kombat Deception was a fighting game released on the Xbox console. The game took place after the events of the previous Mortal Kombat games, with characters from both the Mortal Kombat and Deadly Alliance universes facing off against each other.
The gameplay in Mortal Kombat Deception focused on one-on-one combat, with players able to choose from a variety of characters, each with their own unique abilities and movesets. The game featured a "deception" system, which allowed players to use special moves known as "fatalities" to take down opponents.
