SSX Tricky is EA's follow-up to SSX. It has more story than the first game, using special attributes that make each character different. When you race, these differences can cause them to be meaner or nicer to each other.
The SSX Tricky game also has a new trick system called "übertricks". These tricks are harder to do, but they give you more speed. If you do six of these tricks in a row, it's like getting a super-boost and the song "It's Tricky" plays.
The SSX Tricky game has seven tracks that were already in the first game, plus new ones. There are more shortcuts and hidden paths in these tracks than before. Most of the riders from the first game are back, but six new riders have joined them. The music is made by different people like Mix Master Mike and Aphrodite.
The SSX Tricky game comes with special DVD-like bonuses, including videos that show how it was made and behind-the-scenes footage.
SSX Tricky was released for the Xbox on 10th December 2001.
