Race
Take on four of the top boarders in a blistering winner-take-all downhill event.
Showoff
This isn't about getting down the hill with the most speed, it's about getting down the hill with the most style. Points for the coolest tricks win the day here. Time Challenge
Race against the clock in this downhill flight. Remember though, tricks get you adrenaline, adrenaline increases speed, and speed is what you want here. World Circuit
Take the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals on eight different international courses against the slickest boarders around. World Circuit mode is the only mode in which you can unlock courses and characters. World Circuit mode offers the same events a Single Event mode, with the exception of Time Challenge.
Race
Advance through all of the qualifying rounds to the finals and become master of the mountain. Here's how it works:
•
There are three heats to every World Circuit race: quarter, semi, and final. You must place in the top three to continue to the next heat.
•
If you rank third or higher in the final heat, you win a medal and unlock the next venue.
•
After you unlock new venues by medalling in a race, the venues become available to you in all game modes.
•
In addition to unlocking new venues, you also unlock better snowboarders and you improve your ranking.
•
The Rankings, in order, are: Newbie, Rookie, Contender, Natural, Star, Veteran, Champ, Superstar, and Sensei.
Showoff
Showoff events in World Circuit mode are set up the same as in Single Race mode, but they also give you the chance to earn medals. Gold medals not only look good around your neck, they also unlock characters. To win a medal in a Showoff event, you must score a certain number of Trick Points.
