After becoming the Legend 1 of Porombo Island in the original game, Cody sets off to a new land, and a new tournament. Things take a turn for the worse when a violent storm destroys Cody's boat, and sends him adrift at sea. He awakens inside a shack in the land of Majiko but all is not well. He discovers that the nearby lands are being terrorized by the Maskman and his cronies. In order to put things right, Cody must travel back 20 years into the past and back again.

Extracted from the original game manual
In this quirky adventure, players manage a mystical shop where trading mushrooms with the resident spirit Mushroom grants them various followers that alter gameplay. They can explore Playland to win rare items through mini-games like Bingo or challenge a computer opponent in the 4Tune Battle located in Hoffman Tower.
Story
MUSHROOM SHOP
If you take a mushroom to Mushroom in this shop, you can get a Spirit that follows you around. Each Spirit is different, and has a different effect when it follows you.
PLAYLAND
In Playland there are all sorts of games you can play, such as Bingo. There are rare items you can only get by winning here...!
PLAY 4TUNE BATTLE!
If you talk to the Robocon in Hoffman Tower, you can play the 4Tune Battle against the computer. For more information on the 4Tune Battle, please see page 31.

How to Start the Game
Insert the Robopon 2 Game Pak into the Game Boy™ Advance and turn the power on. If you press the A Button or START during the opening demo, you will skip to the title screen.
Use the Control Pad to select the mode you want to play and press the A Button to decide.
Start from the beginning of the game. Pick this if you're playing the game for the first time.
Continue
Start from where you last saved the game. You can only save 1 data file.
Link
Using a Game Boy® Advance Game Link® Cable, you can play 2 different games.
New Game Setup
If you pick “New Game” the opening event will begin. To proceed through the conversations, press the A Button when the ▼ mark flashes. During the opening event, you will be able to input the main character's name. It can be up to 5 letters, numbers, or symbols. Use the L and R Buttons to switch between them. If you do not indicate any changes, he will be called “Cody.” After this, you must enter your birthday.
The sequence is: Opening Event → Enter Name → Enter Birthday → Begin Your Journey.
Item Menu
Item, Parts, and Software are displayed according to type. You can use or throw away items with the Use / Dump command. The description of the Item you have selected will be displayed here.
You can hold up to 20 of each type of item (Item, Parts, and Software).
Spark / Battery Management
You must have the "Battery Folder" or else you cannot use it. Batteries you are carrying displays all the Batteries you currently have here. The Batteries you select are set here.
Overview
The main character has been washed ashore in Baba Village after being caught in a storm. You will meet people in various towns who will give you items or useful information. So be sure to talk to everyone.
There are also people who will challenge you to a Robopon Battle. If you win, you can get money and Batteries.
Gathering Information
You can get info on where to go next and find new Robopons.
Powering Up
There are shops that sell Items and Parts.
World Map
After you have prepared, it is time to leave the town. You will find yourself on the World Map and you should move to where you want to go.
Dungeon Exploration
As your journey progresses, you will explore dungeons. There are many different types of dungeons, such as pyramids and caves. Here you will encounter enemy Robopon. There may be unexpected events as well.
Battle Tips
Build up experience by fighting enemies. Find Treasure Chests. You may find rare items!
You can save anywhere in a town or dungeon. Be sure to use the “Save” command in the Menu! Don't forget!
When all your Robopon are scrapped, the game is over.
Robopon Types
There are 3 Types of Robopon! Depending on the type of Robopon you have, the Parts it can / cannot equip will differ.
Arm Type
Has very high attack power. All other parameters are also well balanced.
Move Type
These Robopon are very quick. Many Robopon of this type can be used for transportation.
Boot Type
They are slow, but have high offense and defense. They cannot install any Parts or Software.
Enhancing Robopon
As shown below, you can enhance your Robopon as you level up. When you enhance your Robopon, not only do your Robopon's parameters go up, but they can also learn new skills.
Installing Parts & Software
Parts are components that include weapons and armor. Installing them will raise the various parameters of your Robopon. Installing Software will allow you to use various skills. Using skills will diminish EP (Energy Points).
How to Enhance
You can enhance your Robopon at the Robopon Lab. When the message, "Enhance" appears after you level up, take your Robopon to the Lab.
Color Customization
On the Menu/Robopon menu, you can select "Color" to alter the color of your Robopon. Use the ◄◄ ▶▶ Control Pad to change your Robopon to your favorite color.
Battle Basics
During battles, you mostly attack with direct attacks and skills. You can gain experience once you defeat the enemy.
Abnormal Status
Sometimes during battle you will receive an attack from the enemy and become Ill. You can use items or skills to recover from these abnormal statuses. Your Robopon automatically recover from abnormal status at the end of the battle. However if a Robopon is Scrapped, it must be repaired at the Lab.

Warehouse
You can store items here. First pick the type of Item you want to store or remove from the frame, then pick STOR or RMOV.
Timzup
Timzup has a sense of humor; he can't laugh because it has 2 screws loose. It is very humorous.
Fighter
A mate fighting machine based off the popular Razor Robopon. Its specialty is its sharp movement.
Magicword
A part compatible with Arm/Fighter types that provides 13 Attack, 11 Defense, 7 Speed, 3 Force, and 5 Will.
Iron Punch
A part compatible with Arm/Punch types that provides 11 Attack, 10 Defense, 9 Speed, 4 Force, and 6 Will.
MagicLaw
A part compatible with Arm/Spell types that provides 8 Attack, 16 Defense, 12 Speed, 8 Force, and 14 Will.
Wisp
A part compatible with Arm/Sorcerer types that provides 8 Attack, 7 Defense, 8 Speed, 9 Force, and 8 Will.
Can-Ball
A part compatible with Move/Land types that provides 10 Attack, 8 Defense, 12 Speed, 3 Force, and 7 Will.
Albo
A spirit that lowers the price of items at the store for 50 Steps.
Carol
A spirit that lowers the chance of an encounter for 300 Steps.
Dimitri
A spirit that raises the chance of an encounter for 50 Battles.
FIRE 1
A software that teaches Fire, allowing a fire attack on 1 opponent.
UP 1
A software that teaches ShareUp, which powers up Defense for 1 ally.
DOWN 1
A software that teaches Shield▼, which powers down Defense for 1 opponent.
SLEEP
A software that teaches Sleep, putting 1 opponent into Suspend.
CURE 1
A software that teaches Cure, curing the Rust status of 1 ally.
KISS 1
A software that teaches Kiss, recovering HP of 1 ally.
WIND 2
A software that combines with FIRE 1 to use Sonic, or with DOWN 1 to use Shield.
Kerosene
An item that recovers 30 HP.
Oil
An item that recovers 80 HP.
Start Up
An item that recovers from Suspend status.
AthAmid
An item that raises MAX Attack power.
Escape
An item that allows escape from a dungeon.
10MSt
An item that recovers 30 EP.
Tips & Maps
JUMPER
Player 1's current distance, Player 2's (COM) current distance, and the Angle Gauge showing the Roboson's flight angle are displayed on the screen.
JUMPER RULES
Players compete to jump the farthest, with wind direction affecting flight distance. After jumping by pressing the A button, hold and release it to maintain balance, as a bad landing results in a distance of 0, and the player with the furthest total distance after 3 rounds wins.
