The Black Eyed Peas Experience is a Kinect dancing game that features music tracks by the pop band The Black Eyed Peas. The player builds an avatar, which then dances together with the band. To play, the player must match the band's dance moves, with a graphical representation of the required move shown on the screen as a pictogram. While it is not possible to completely fail a song, there are some challenges that reward customization items when met.

The game offers two main modes: normal dance mode and Dancing Deluxe career mode. In normal dance mode, players can choose from available songs, while in Dancing Deluxe career mode, each song is broken down into three parts that can be learned separately. The player can also activate a dance coach, which provides a slow-motion view of the moves. Additionally, players can create their own choreographies using the available move list.

The game features a total of 37 songs, including some exclusive tracks for buyers of the first edition:
