F.E.A.R. Files is the first expansion for the Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon . This standalone title combines the two add-ons: F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point and F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate .
Extraction Point , released separately for Windows, was later included in this 360 edition. The second expansion, F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate , was also released on the same day as this Xbox 360 version.
The game follows the story of Agent Michael Becket, a member of Delta Force Team One, who is sent to investigate strange occurrences at the Mount Carmine Military Base. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the base has been overrun by supernatural entities, and he must navigate through the eerie environment to uncover the truth.
The gameplay is fast-paced and action-packed, with a focus on stealth and strategy. Players control Agent Becket as he navigates through the haunted base, fighting against hordes of enemies and solving puzzles to progress through the story.
