X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Xbox 360) is a different version compared to other consoles like PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, and NDS. The game follows the story of Wolverine 's background before joining the X-Men. It starts with his last mission on Team X, where he witnesses Kayla's death, escapes from Weapon Factory X, and helps Wolverine seek revenge on Victor Creed aka Sabretooth. During battles against dozens of enemies, including boss fights, Wolverine uses different combos and finishers to increase damage output. He can also use the environment to kill enemies or incorporate them into his attacks. The player has access to four Fury Attacks, which are powerful but require rage to execute.
The game uses Quick Time Events for scripted cinematic sequences. By killing enemies, Wolverine gains experience points and dog tags hidden on dead soldiers. These points can be used to level up, increasing health and skill points. Skill points can be spent on learning new combos or strengthening existing ones. Hidden in the levels are Wolverine's old suits from the comics, which unlock bonus challenges when found.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Xbox 360) was released on May 1st, 2009.
