F1 2013 is a racing game that simulates the Formula 1 season of 2013, with the official license for courses, drivers, and cars. It's more simulation than action, and doesn't aim for complete realism. The game is similar to its predecessor, F1 2012 .
The main part of the game is the career mode, where you play as a driver trying to become the best over five seasons. You'll participate in full racing weekends, receive challenges, read emails, and even switch teams. Other modes include season challenge, Grand Prix, scenario mode, time trial/time attack, and tutorial.
A big addition to this game is the F1 Classics mode, which features cars and drivers from the 1980s, like the 1980 Williams FW07B or the 1988 Ferrari F1-87/88C. You'll also find extra courses, such as Jerez and Brands Hatch, not available on the regular calendar. There's limited custom content and unchanged rule sets, but you can use them on normal courses and in Grand Prix mode.
The game has various multiplayer modes, including full races for up to 16 players, split-screen multiplayer for two players, and quick matches with equal car performance. You can also create custom races or participate in a co-op championship with another player.
