BlockBuster is an old arcade game for the Commodore 64. The story is simple: the player controls a paddle that must catch a ball as it comes down from the top of the screen. If the ball hits a brick, it breaks and can sometimes release a bonus, which adds to the player's score. Collecting enough bonuses allows the player to collect power-ups, which give them an advantage over the game.
The gameplay is straightforward but challenging. The player must react quickly to catch the ball and avoid letting it hit the ground, as this ends their turn. The game gets progressively harder as the levels increase, with more bricks and balls appearing on screen at a faster pace. Power-ups can be collected by releasing bonuses, which gives the player an edge over the game's increasing difficulty.
