Harvest Moon is a farming simulation game where you must build and maintain a farm throughout the year, while managing your budget and well-being. You have the ability to buy, sell, and care for farm animals, crops, and other supplies. Trading with town residents and fellow farmers is also an option, with the added bonus of trading items with friends via the Game Boy.
Gameplay revolves around managing your farm's resources, interacting with the townspeople, and exploring the surrounding areas. The game features four distinct seasons, each bringing new challenges such as keeping warm animals cozy during winter and providing water to crops in warmer periods. With the GBC version offering full-color characters and background sprites, players can enjoy a more immersive experience.
