Elex is an action role-playing game set on the planet Magalan after it was hit by a meteor. The game starts with the player's character ship being shot down while on a mission. Stranded far from home, the player now has to survive and explore the world. The game title contains a rare substance that arrived with the meteor, which can be used to power machines or give the user magical abilities.
The game features different factions, each with their own unique goals and methods. The Berserkers in Edan aim to restore nature, while the Outlaws in Tavar focus on rebuilding by any means necessary. Meanwhile, the Clerics in Ignadon use the Elex to power their machines, and the Albs in Xacor consume raw Elex for incredible strength. With a wide range of weapons available, including crossbows, swords, hammers, guns, and flamethrowers, as well as a jetpack, players can explore all five regions of the game world freely from the start.
As players progress through the game, they can gain experience by defeating hostile creatures or completing quests. The game's diverse factions, immersive world, and varied gameplay make for an engaging experience that promises to keep players hooked until the end.
