GRID is a racing game where you control the placement of various kinds of towers and defend against invading aliens. The game consists of a number of missions, each of which is to be completed by defending power cores from the aliens.

The gameplay involves placing and upgrading towers, as well as acquiring an orbital laser that can be fired to destroy aliens at its point of impact immediately.
