The Test Drive Off-Road 3 game is part of the off-road spin-off series from the Test Drive franchise. The story revolves around racing in eight licensed trucks across seven international areas, each with three different tracks to compete on.
The gameplay of Test Drive Off-Road 3 offers various modes, including Tournament Mode, where players must complete seven cups of races to unlock new tracks and earn winnings to purchase new cars. Power-up points are awarded after every race, allowing players to improve their car's performance in different areas.
Players can also choose from special cop variants in Patrol Chase mode, aiming to chase down other cars on the track and give them tickets by ramming into them. Additionally, the game features a rumble feature in its US version, providing an immersive experience of driving through rough terrain.
