Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver is a side-scrolling stunt racer where players are rewarded with speed bonuses for each successful stunt. The game's tracks are based on the iconic toy tracks that many people remember from their childhood.

The gameplay involves making jumps and landing them correctly to complete each track. Players can also roll and spin while in the air, earning additional speed bonuses for each stunt performed. The size of the stunt determines the amount of speed boost received, with bigger stunts resulting in faster speeds. The game features six licensed Hot Wheels cars and six tracks to choose from.

In addition to single-player action, Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver also includes a two-player link mode for head-to-head racing with friends or family members.
