Get ready to rumble with WWF Betrayal, a side-scrolling beat-em-up that puts you in the shoes of a WWE superstar. You can choose from four iconic wrestlers, each with their own unique style and abilities.
The story begins with your character just moments away from winning the WWF Championship, but things take a dramatic turn when they're ambushed by an unknown assailant. Your wrestler is left injured and must embark on a mission to rescue Stephanie McMahon, who's been kidnapped by her father Vince McMahon.
As you navigate through six levels, you'll face off against referees, street punks, security guards, and even other WWE superstars. You can use punches, kicks, dropkicks, or grab onto various objects like steel pipes or 2x4's to take down your enemies. But be careful - the path is littered with traps and pitfalls, including fire pits and laser cannons.
Power-ups are scattered throughout the game, allowing you to replenish your health and power bar. When your bar is full, you can unleash your character's signature finishing moves, such as the Stone Cold Stunner or Pedigree. And if you've got a friend over, you can team up using a link cable for a second-player experience.
