Darkened Skye is an action adventure game that takes its inspiration from the popular Skittles "Taste the Rainbow" ad campaign, where colourful orbs are transformed into magical spheres with incredible powers. You play as Skye of Lynlora, a strong-willed warrior who must use her wit and staff to save the world from evil Lord Necroth.
The game follows Skye's journey as she sets out to reassemble the Great Rainbow, which has been destroyed by Necroth. Along the way, you'll encounter various challenges, including battling enemies, solving puzzles, and interacting with non-playable characters. The story unfolds gradually, revealing more about the world and its inhabitants.
Gameplay involves exploring medieval landscapes in three-dimensional detail, running, jumping, and fighting your way through levels. As Skye, you'll harness the power of magical Skittles to overcome obstacles and defeat Necroth's minions.
