Mega Man X teams up with Zero in a traditional console RPG, developed by the same people who created Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.
The storyline is very similar to the traditional side-scrolling Mega Man games, making it a unique twist on the genre. The basic plot of the game revolves around saving Giga City from the rioting of the Liberion Army. As you progress through the game, you'll have a party of up to 7 members.
The gameplay involves action and adventure elements, with an emphasis on exploration and character development. With the ability to upgrade various elements using a metal called Force Metal, your characters can become more powerful and effective in combat. The Gamecube version features a link-up function with the Game Boy Advance, allowing you to use the GBA as a treasure hunter locator.
