Championship Baseball is a two-player game for the TI-99 computer that requires the MBX Expansion System. The special joysticks and keypad peripheral are used in combination with voice recognition technology to give commands to your team. This game uses unique controls, such as three-axis movement and multiple buttons on the joystick.
The gameplay is divided into two main parts: batting and fielding. In the batting round, you control the player at bat using the joystick to hit the ball and run around the bases. Meanwhile, the fielder uses voice recognition and the keypad to control the pitcher and other fielders. They can choose from different pitches, such as fastballs or curveballs, depending on their speed.
