Mean Streak is set in a post-apocalyptic future where most people rely on Matter Transporters for travel. However, Rebels have taken to using an abandoned orbital road, transforming it into the Battletrack. The game follows your journey on Mean Streak , a motorcycle, as you navigate through this treacherous Mad Max-inspired world.
The gameplay involves darting through the isometrically-viewed roads while avoiding hazards such as walls, gaps in the road, and oil slicks. A scanner at the bottom of the screen provides advanced warning of upcoming dangers. You can also pick up improved weaponry, extra fuel, and boxes of oil to aid you on your journey. By shooting or ramming other bikes, you can gain an advantage over your opponents.
