Wario World , released on 2003-06-23 for the Gamecube, is an action-packed platformer where you control Wario . A mysterious black jewel in his castle transforms his treasure into monsters, and Wario must navigate through a bizarre parallel universe to reclaim his stolen riches.
Wario World is an action platformer where you punch, pound, barge, and jump your way through hordes of enemies as you try to win back Wario's treasure. You can also grab certain items and enemies and whirl them around you before releasing them into more foes, causing even more chaos.
Wario World 's gameplay is complemented by collecting Wario coins, which can be used to purchase health and bonuses. If there are too many coins in an area, you can press L and Wario will inhale them instead. Additionally, hidden throughout the levels are Spritelings, caged creatures that offer Wario helpful hints when freed.
