The control system that controls robots has turned against humans, ordering the robots to destroy them. The war has begun, and it's up to you, Joe, to take down the control system and stop the robot uprising.
Assault City is a one-player shooter where you start by practicing your aim at a shooting range, avoiding human targets while blasting away at robots. As you progress through the levels, you'll face off against increasingly difficult robot enemies, with some offering power-ups to boost your arsenal or extend your life. Defeating each level's boss will unlock the next stage, and the game continues until your energy runs out – but don't worry, you have unlimited continues.
Assault City is available on the Sega Master System, with two versions: one using a control pad and another featuring a Light Phaser.
