Muv Luv is a Visual Novel set in an alternate history where World War II took place 10 years later, and Japan has become a superpower. The story follows Balsa, an 18-year-old girl who pilots a advanced fighter plane called the NT-65 . She joins the special forces unit known as the Nationals , led by the charismatic Commander Amizuka, to fight against the European Alliance and its advanced technology.
The gameplay is divided into interactive chapters that explore Balsa's past and her relationships with other characters. The player makes choices for Balsa, which affect the story's outcome. The game features a unique blend of action, romance, and strategy, with a strong focus on character development and emotional storytelling.
