Cyber Cross is set in a world where robots and insectoid creatures are trying to take over the planet. You play as a man who possesses the ability to transform into Cyber Cross , allowing you to stop this evil invasion.
As you navigate through the side view scrolling game, you'll punch and kick your way through hordes of enemies while collecting coloured pods. The colour of the pod determines which power you gain as Cyber Cross . Red gives you a sword, blue equips you with a laser gun, and green grants you a boomerang. Holding down a button and releasing it unleashes a special attack. However, if you're hit three times while in the Cyber Cross form, your suit is lost.
The game also features additional screens displaying your score, lives, time, health meter, and special weapon meter, giving you a better understanding of your progress and performance throughout the game.
