Puzzle Bobble , released in 1979 for the WonderSwan, is a puzzle game that follows the story of Bobble and his friend Uki as they try to clear bubbles from their home. The evil Bubble Wizard has stolen all of the jewels in the kingdom, and it's up to Bobble and Uki to stop him by popping clusters of bubbles.
The gameplay involves controlling Bobble as he navigates through levels, popping clusters of bubbles to progress. Each bubble has a point value attached to it, and by popping them in groups, players can earn rewards and unlock new levels. The game requires strategy and timing to pop the right combinations of bubbles to achieve the highest score.
