Puzzle Bobble

Puzzle Bobble is a bubble shooter where the player aims and fires colored bubbles from a cannon at clusters of similarly colored bubble columns. Matching adjacent bubbles of the same color causes them to pop. When a cluster has no attachment to the ceiling, the disconnected group also falls and clears. The game uses a row of bubble bottles at the bottom that cycles colors, requiring players to plan ahead and shoot to clear rows. This Game Gear port brings the classic Taito arcade experience to Nintendo's handheld platform.
