Power Pro-kun Pocket 2 is an arcade Baseball simulator developed by Diamond Head and published by Konami for the Game Boy Color in 2000. The simple simulator works similarly to the first game, with 12 teams of the Japanese league available for free play.
The main feature of Power Pro-kun Pocket 2 is its story scenario, "Drill Moglars Edition", which follows a new protagonist: a professional ballplayer drafted into the Moglars, a small-time team owned by the Drill corporation. The protagonist must lead the team to the top of the Japanese league while facing financial struggles and mismanagement.
Gameplay involves managing the protagonist's weekly routine to train, meet new teammates, and date one out of several love interests. However, failing to keep the protagonist healthy or losing too much reputation will result in a game over, erasing the player's save file. The player can reset the game, but there are restrictions and penalties.
Clearing the "Drill Moglars" scenario multiple times reveals a new story mode called "War", which takes place during World War II. This mode features unusual gameplay mechanics, including Minesweeper with strange rules: guiding the protagonist to the top of each board while avoiding mines and collecting items with unknown effects.
Upon completing either success mode, the player can create a custom team for Exhibition mode using the resulting character. Matches between two players using a link cable are supported, with characters swapping attributes when played by different players. This allows for the achievement of specific endings.
A compilation remake of Power Pro-kun Pocket 2 and its prequel was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004.
