The Armored Core: Formula Front game lets you play as a strategy game. You can't control your mech in action, but you can customize it like always. There's also an AI that fights on its own. Your job is to customize the mech and teach the AI how to fight in training areas. The two versions of the game have USB data transfer, so you can share mech data between the PSP and PS2.
The gameplay involves customizing your mech and using the AI for battles. You can switch between different mechs with unique abilities, each suited to a specific battle style. The game also has online multiplayer options, allowing you to fight against other players from around the world.
