Strategy is key to success, as you'll need to manage your fighter's performance outside of the ring to compensate for any weaknesses inside it. The total punch control system allows for precise throwing of punches using the analog stick, eliminating unnecessary button mashing.

The game also features ESPN Classic mode, where you can relive iconic fights from boxing history, such as Taylor vs. Hopkins, Gatti vs. Ward, and Robinson vs. Lamotta.

With a local multiplayer option, you can challenge friends to in-ring battles, while the online mode allows for worldwide competition against any opponent at any time.
