Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is a unique take on the Power Rangers series, diverging from its predecessors in style. Instead of being a 2D brawler, this version is a one-on-one fighting game based on the movie.
The game features three main modes of play: Story , where players can choose from six Power Rangers to battle Ivan Ooze's minions and eventually face off against Ooze himself. The Versus mode allows players to pick from either the Power Rangers or their enemies, with randomly selected opponents in each match. The Link mode enables local multiplayer combat using the Gear-to-Gear link cable.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was released on the Sega Game Gear in October 1995 and offers a fresh twist on the action-packed gameplay that fans of the series have come to expect.
