Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch is an enhanced port version of the original 2013 Nintendo 3DS game with improved graphics, new controls and other changes. The game follows the story of a young boy named Keita Amato who receives a special watch that allows him to see and befriend Yo-kai, mischievous spirits that roam the human world.
The gameplay revolves around exploring the town, completing missions and befriending Yo-kai. Players can capture Yo-kai using a special medallion and then train them to help solve problems in the town. The game also features a battle system where players can use their Yo-kai to fight against other Yo-kai or monsters.
