World Stadium is a baseball game released for the PC Engine in 1988. The gameplay and graphics style are similar to Namco's "Family Stadium/Famista" series for the Nintendo NES/Famicom. Players can choose from one of ten non-licensed teams in a one or two-player mode, as well as watch two computer opponents play against each other.
The game follows the standard baseball formula with a 3rd-person view from behind the batter and an overhead view of the field once the player hits the ball. Progress is saved via passwords given after each match.
