The gameplay revolves around upgrading both primary and secondary weapons. Power-up pods release P capsules for primary upgrades, while flying pods provide secondary weapon upgrades. You start with a laser as your secondary weapon, which can be replaced with various power-ups, including split fire and napalm rockets. Both primary and secondary weapons are used simultaneously by pressing button 2.
