Sonic The Hedgehog is set in a world where Dr. Robotnik has stolen all the Chaos Emeralds, leaving South Island on the brink of destruction. With the emeralds' power balance disrupted, Sonic and his trusty sidekick Tails must embark on a quest to retrieve them before it's too late.
