The year is 2046 and the Togusa building has been occupied by terrorists. The building is owned by a major military supplier called Machine Gear and houses some important scientists. The T.R.A.G. (Tactical Rescue Assault Group) team is sent out to resolve the situation and free the hostages, but are all caught in a trap. With only two survivors, team members Alex and Michelle, it's up to them to take out the threat themselves. Gameplay resembles the early Resident Evil games, with its 3D characters over fixed pre-rendered backdrops and combination of puzzle solving and action elements. One big difference, however, is the ability to switch between any of the characters at any given time. This feature is used to solve certain puzzles and to find different routes through the Togusa building. Throughout the game you will acquire four different allies to aid you. You never find new weapons in the game, so you need to use the characters wisely and where needed, since they all have different abilities and arms. You can also split them up in teams of two, to make things more versatile.



This is an action-shooter game where players control an elite commando. Their mission is to infiltrate a terrorist-occupied building, eliminate all opposition, and rescue hostages.



Story

PROLOGUE

Early one morning in 2046, an SOS signal was received from the Togusa Building, headquarters of Machinery Gear, Inc. This company is a major player in aerospace development and is also deeply involved in the arms industry, famous for advanced military weapons.

The city police sent a special commando unit SWAT team to overcome terrorists and rescue scientists held hostage. The Togusa Building is now a terrorist fortress.

Only two commando members managed to enter the building alive: Alex Barrat, an expert in guns, and Michelle Stevenson, an expert in blades. The rest of the team did not survive.

MISSION

You are in charge of the special operation related to this incident.

Your mission is to rescue the hostages and bring the occupied Togusa Bldg. back under our control. If you encounter any opposition from the terrorist group, shoot to kill.

The operation starts at 21.30. Get in and out as quickly as you can.

Set up your PlayStation game console according to the instructions in its Instruction Manual.

Make sure the power is off before inserting or removing a compact disc. Insert the T.R.A.G. disc and close the disc cover. Insert game controllers and turn on the PlayStation game console. Follow on-screen instructions to start a game.

STARTING THE GAME

Insert the T.R.A.G. disk into your PlayStation console. Turn on the Power, and the title video will start.

When you press the START button, the title screen appears and the menu is displayed.

Use the directional or buttons to select a menu item. Pressing the X button enters the selected menu item.

The first time you play the game, select "GAME START".

GAME START

Starts the game from the beginning.

LOAD

Enters the LOAD Screen (see page 7) where you can select a saved file when you want to resume the game.

OPTION

Allows you to select the sound mode (stereo or mono) and to turn on/off the DUAL SHOCK™ vibration feature.



Tips & Maps

MEMORY CARD

You need a Memory Card to save your game. Make sure there are enough free blocks on your Memory Card before commencing play.

SAVE Screen

You can save your game up to four files. Use the ⬆ or ⬇ directional buttons to select the file and press the X button to save, or press the △ button to return to the GAME Screen.

LOAD Screen

Use the ⬆ or ⬇ directional buttons to select a saved file and press the X button to load, or press the △ button to return to the title screen.

Saving/Loading Caution

Do not press the PlayStation Power or Reset button, or insert/remove a Memory Card while saving or loading your game data, or your saved data may be lost.


