Shock Wave: Operation Jumpgate follows up on the alien attack repelled seven years ago with a new mission to defend against signs of an impending second wave within our solar system. New missions have been created in locations such as Mars, Jupiter and Saturn's moons, and the asteroid belt.

The gameplay involves action-packed sequences where you fight your way through enemies in these new locations while trying to uncover the alien threat. The live-action cutscenes continue to advance the story, guiding you through this intergalactic adventure.
